Installation Policy

Hamilton’s Woodcraft Installation Services Policy

"Hamilton’s Woodcraft" here after also known as “I”, “we”, “us”, “me”, or “HW”.

 

All installation work is started only after a signature from the owner of the product being installed has been applied to an agreement form from Hamilton’s Woodcraft. It is also understood that for any reason HW may stop the installation if unforeseen circumstances that might be considered unsafe for either the customer or HW performing the service arise from performing the service. Furthermore the service may also be stopped for any other reason that HW states at any time upon a staff member's discretion, including all Hamilton's Woodcraft staff, which may include property owner (customer), business owner (Scott Hamilton), temporary help (any person that is helping with an installation, and employees.

 

Local Installations Only. Meaning that If I feel like it is to far for me to travel and that it will go beyond my benefit to travel the distance it is requested of me, then I will more than likely reject the request.

Travel expenses. I use a Gasoline driven vehicle. So my expenses will be the cost of Gas. I will use a truck to travel that uses an average of 15 miles per gallon of gas. So if I travel 60 miles and gas costs $3 a gallon that's $12 to get there and $12 to get back totaling $24.

 

Installation Fee is $50. This does not include the price for the Installation that the customer will also be obligated to pay HW.

Payments. Nearly all of the work HW does is paid 50% in advance. Payments for Installation requires a 50% or 100% deposit of the agreed or estimated total price for the service, before the service may start.

By requesting HW for any service you agree to all of HW policies, including this Installation Policy.

 

A customer may request an installation. You the customer understand and agree that a request for an installation is a request. HW is not obligated to fulfill requests of for any customer. You as a customer understand and agree that HW may accept or deny any requests.

 

If HW denies an installation request, no other actions of any kind will be taken against HW by the customer for any requests denied.

 

Upon HW accepting an installation request, HW may give Estimates for options concerning the installation. After the customer has agreed with a specific option. HW will commit to the installation upon the agreed terms.

 

It needs to be understood by both HW and the customer about how the circumstances of installations can vary widely concerning each specific installation request before signing an agreement. Once an agreement has been signed. That agreement for an installation with HW is governed by this policy and other policies related to doing business with HW, including Hamilton’s Woodcraft Terms and Conditions.

 

By signing the agreement, which may be either in the form of an invoice or any other agreement with HW concerning the installation/s the customer has entered into a binding contract with HW.

 

All installations that were agreed to be completed by HW will obligate HW to the installation/s agreed on. Also the amount of money owed by the customer for the installation/s to pay HW the customer is obliged to pay HW.

 

If for any reason the customer is not satisfied with the installation. The customer agrees that HW will not be held liable for the replacement or cost associated with replacing the product that the installation was performed on. Furthermore you the customer irrevocably agrees not to hold HW liable for any damages physical or financial associated with the product that has been serviced for installation by HW. Considering this paragraph HW is committed to providing a fair and faithful service to it's customers, although we may not be able to install all things with unforeseen circumstance that may arise from old or damaged products with consideration to the cost either being time or money or both that may out weigh the benefit of installation.

 

You agree with this policy in full before any service is performed, by requesting HW to perform the service.
